DF Osteopathy
Website privacy
This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this website. It does not cover the clinical records created when you book or attend an appointment.
Who is responsible
The person responsible for information collected through this website is David Fildes trading as DF Osteopathy. You can write to DF Osteopathy, Unit 107, Ashbourne Industrial Estate, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, A84 W256 about a privacy question or request.
What this website uses
The website has no contact form, account or online payment. When you visit, the hosting service, Railway, processes technical information needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages and the time of your visit. This is used to run the website and investigate errors or misuse. The lawful basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure.
The map on the home page uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading it sends your IP address and technical request information to the OpenStreetMap tile service. You can use the written address and directions links without relying on the map.
Booking and directions
The booking buttons take you to DF Osteopathy's booking page on Cliniko. Information you enter there is handled through that service, not through this website. The Apple Maps and Google Maps links also open external services. Please read their privacy information before entering personal or health details.
Cookies and sharing
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It does not sell visitor information. Technical information is processed by the hosting provider, and the map requests are sent to OpenStreetMap as described above. External booking and directions services process information under their own notices when you choose to open them.
How long information is kept
The website does not keep a visitor database. Technical records held by the hosting service are kept only as needed for site operation, security and troubleshooting, subject to the hosting service's retention settings. This page does not state a retention period for patient records.
Your rights
You can ask about personal information held about you and, where applicable, request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Write to the clinic at the address above. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.
Patient information
Booking and treatment involve different information, including health information. David should provide a separate patient privacy notice explaining how appointments and clinical records are handled. Ask the clinic for that notice before sharing health information if it has not yet been provided.
